Radio Raheem
Independent radio from Milan.
About Radio Raheem
Radio Raheem reads as Milan's answer to the "cultural platform disguised as a radio station" model: a web radio, born in 2017 out of the city's music/culture professional class, that has steadily institutionalized itself (moving from a bar window in Navigli to a permanent home inside the Triennale design museum). The strongest impression after real listening is of an editorially self-conscious operation — one that thinks of itself as a media organisation and event producer as much as a broadcaster, with a stated ambition to sit inside "the European, extra-European and Mediterranean landscape" rather than just serve Milan.
