Reform Radio
Independent radio from Manchester.
About Reform Radio
Reform Radio was founded in 2013 by three friends — Jemma Tanswell, Rachel Roger and Sam Oliveira — explicitly as a youth-employment and creative-engagement initiative that uses radio as a tool for social mobility, beginning broadcasts from the basement of a Chorlton share-house in 2014. The strongest impression for a listener is of a station whose primary organizing logic is social mission (supporting under-employed 18-30-year-olds into work or education) rather than a distinct musical or curatorial identity.
