About Steam Radio
Steam Radio (STEAM MCR) presents as a socially-driven, DIY community station based in Levenshulme, south Manchester, operating out of its flagship venue The Old Abbey Taphouse — a live-music-venue-plus-radio-station-plus-creative-hub combination whose stated mission foregrounds community impact (creative workshops, support for underrepresented local creatives, food-surplus redistribution) as much as music.
