About Netil Radio
Netil Radio's recognizable trait is its physical setting as much as its sound: a station broadcasting from a converted shipping container above Netil Market in Hackney, run by a small founding team (Mick Wallace, with Tobias George, Chris Thiele, Flora Lait, Pete Nicholson and Miro Sundaymusiq) who built it from a bare-bones studio in December 2016 into a full seven-day schedule within roughly six months. It reads as an East London community-market station whose identity is inseparable from its Hackney marketplace setting.
