Aaja Music
London community radio with global sounds.
About Aaja Music
AAJA (Aaja Radio) reads as a genuinely community-built South East London institution — opened in Deptford in 2018 by two local music-business figures and grown into a "full spectrum" bar, record label, live-streaming and event space now anchored at the Aaja Basement, with an in-house record shop (Crates R Us) added recently. The strongest impression is of an unusually close-knit resident culture: multiple long-tenured DJs (some present "since the early days" in Deptford Market Yard) hosting idiosyncratic, personality-forward shows.
