Intergalactic FM

About Intergalactic FM

Intergalactic FM (IFM) is the closest thing electronic music has to a private clubhouse with the door held permanently ajar. Run by I-F (Ferenc van der Sluijs) and the Hotmix Foundation, it grew out of his earlier Cybernetic Broadcasting System and functions less like a "station" than an ongoing transmission from a single, deeply idiosyncratic record collection — I-F's, and by extension The Hague's. A knowledgeable listener quickly clocks that this is not a rotating cast of guest curators chasing trends; it's a fixed, obsessive sensibility broadcasting outward.
