Dublab
Independent music and arts radio from Los Angeles.
About Dublab
Dublab is one of the oldest and most institutionally respected stations in this entire field: a Los Angeles non-profit founded in 1999 by USC college-radio alumni Mark "Frosty" McNeill and Jon Buck, now 25+ years old, described by hip-hop writer Jeff Weiss as an LA institution "on par with the Walt Disney Concert Hall or the Hollywood Bowl." A knowledgeable listener recognizes it as a foundational blueprint station — explicitly cited as inspiration for NTS, Boiler Room, and the now-defunct Red Light Radio — built on the idea of "wide-spectrum" music with no hard genre boundaries.
