1BTN
Soul, disco and electronic music from Brighton.
About 1BTN
1BTN (1 Brighton FM) presents as a South Coast underground-music station built around collector culture — soul, jazz, broken beat, disco, house, and balearic sit at its center, with an explicit house identity tied to the UK's "balearic" listening tradition (its own editorial output includes multi-part deep-dives on the search for the "balearic beat"). It also functions as a community training ground, providing studio time and airtime to local groups and university radio courses.
