About Radio Grenouille
Radio Grenouille is a genuine cultural institution rather than a music-scene radio in the club sense: founded in 1981 by Richard Martin (director of the Toursky Theatre) and based since 1991 at the Friche la Belle de Mai, Marseille's flagship converted industrial arts complex. Its recognizable identity is "art radio embedded in an arts institution" — sound art, civic/environmental discourse, and music sit together as equally weighted strands.
