About 95bFM
95bFM ("bFM") is New Zealand's original independent, corporate-free student broadcaster, running continuously since 1969 (as a capping-week stunt) — its recognizable trait is a deliberately anarchic, "no sanitised bullshit" attitude that treats its audience as intelligent adults rather than a demographic to be sold to. Its bumper-sticker slogan, "Other Radio Stations Are Shit," is a genuinely earned piece of cultural mythology rather than marketing bluster.
